Two Feet Above Sea Level

This image is what I would definitely call synonymous with me. It is probably my most popular work to date and was inspired by many happy times spent on holidays in the Algarve, Portugal. I love the sun, the sea, the turquoise/blue waters and the bright blue skies that the algarve has in spades. It is one of my favourite places in all the world - definitely my "Happy Place"! This picture is based on photos that I took of my little "mermaid" niece having a ball in the water. Those two feet sticking up in the air could be any one of us having a great time on our holidays in the sun! The original digital photo that I took has been greatly enhanced via the addiion of digital painting tools in Photoshop. I dabbled and painted away until I achieved that "summer vibes" feeling that I was aiming for!
It is available as a framed signed digital media print in various sizes (and also can be purchased unframed) and comes printed on high quality photo paper of archival standard.
 
This piece is also available as a digital/acrylic mixed media work on  90 x 90cm stretched canvas. My framer prints out the image at the required size on canvas and I then add acrylic paint effects to finish it off nicely and give it a painterly touch. It is finally sealed with a layer of varnish which protects the image and gives it a vibrant finish.
Alternatively, the 90 x 90cm mixed media canvas can also be bought unframed in a roll for easy transport.
I can only deliver within the greater Dublin/ North Wicklow area. By the way, I am unable to ship larger pieces.
