Marina boats, Greystones

This is my first work depicting the new marina in Greystones, Co. Wicklow where I live. Most locals were reluctant to embrace it at first as everyone missed the presence of the quaint old harbour with its fishing boats and little beach that generations of children grew up swimming at. However, the marina is gradually coming into its own. It is lovely to take a stroll there on a summer's evening and admire the boats as they bob gently on the water.
