Ebbing Tide

This is a digital art/mixed media painting that is created using brushes via Procreate on my ipad. After my framer prints it out on canvas I add acrylic paint effects and varnish to enhance it. It is inspired by my love of the sea and the beautiful irish coastline. It in fact started life as a square digital art painting called Evening Tide which can be viewed elsewhwere on my website.  A client asked me to recreate it as a 120 x 40cm shape. So I effectively had to create a whole new painting out of my head. I have to say I'm very happy with the final result.
